12 Answers to 12 Tweeters Questions

From RecycleOrBurn@: Whats in the mug you’re always sipping from during concerts? Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa is oral demulcent sore throat syrup. It’s like tea, but more like molasses from the China Sea.

Better than what’s in the mug is how I have adorned it with two very special stickers. One is a snazzy headshot of Sathya Sai Baba throwing a high five. You probably know him for his most famous incense, Nag Champa. But in India, Sai Baba is a great Fakir, a holy man who uplifts and inspires, feeds and houses people for free. Some say is merely a master of sleight of hand as he often performs miracles conjuring up jewelry from thin air to give to his devotees as solid proof of God’s ability to provide for all. To many, Sai Baba is an avatar, an incarnation of God himself. His is a pretty trippy story.

The other sticker reps 2hip bikes, a homegrown bmx bike company in Santa Cruz, California founded by ron w. Ron is a pioneer of the vert-ramp and has been riding since before the sport was even acknowledged as a sport. He is one of the key philosophers and mentors that introduced me to the very life I have now. Pura Vida Ron. Stay Rad.

VivaLaCarlZ Asks: what does the line “taste these teeth please” in “Plane” mean?
If you don’t brush your teeth for a while they tend to get fuzzy like they’re wearing sweaters. “Taste these teeth” is an invitation to kiss; ergo, undress me from the sweaters…

ColbertGal5 is curious to know: How many hats do you own?
It’s taken me years to find a system to travel with more than one hat. In the past I would just wear my hat constantly to avoid it getting smooshed in my bag. But on this tour I came up with the perfect storage solution. I now keep four hats stacked upon each other in a cardboard box in my suitcase, well stuffed and padded, inside and out, with my socks and underwear. Not to pat myself on the ass or anything, but I thought that was a rather keen way of using supplies I already had to cushion the hats and keep them company. Hopefully this doesn’t make you think twice before asking if you can have my hat.

Mry13 wonders: How or why did you choose those clothes to perform "Shower me with your love" in 1991? Spell Check tells me this is how you spell Cummerbund. I do as I’m told. And in the 8th grade, I was told to wear one. A good way to know whether you have it on correctly is if you can catch crumbs in the pleats or if girls are not speaking to you.

A good question from Cocoa3C: Why did you decide to change your lyric “God Forsaken” to “God intended right?” Songs don’t have to be written in one sitting. I allow lyrics to evolve, or rather, reveal themselves naturally. The term “God Forsaken” is simply turning a phrase, but in fact the phrase means to withdraw or remove the right. A “God Intended right” is a more powerful suggestion implying that Love is meant for all by all and it gives us more of a lift when we shout it.

The_littlest@ poses a big question: hugs or kisses?

Besos.

07Kje07 wants to know: I’ve been a fan of your blog since 2007. Why did you start writing your blog? Since 2002, long before anyone ever uttered the word blog, I’ve been maintaining a journal on my website. I do so as a way of extending love beyond my capacity in music and for writing directly to my expansive family and friend-base.

Our official message board, RKOP, has an extraordinary archive of posts from days of old. I started freshnessfactorfivethousand in 2007 because blogspot offers a layout that’s familiar to read and easy to use, welcoming pictures, video and comments. FF5000 is where I post my blog first, followed by Myspace, and from there it is syndicated to every other network including Facebook and JasonMraz.com

PaulCulliFord@ is perplexed: Yeah, why don’t you do your own tweeting? Two main reasons for not twittering myself are A) I’m a blogger and B) I don’t have a personal relationship with a handheld device.

But I do choose to use Twitter as a powerful medium to inspire people and connect, just as I do with music. Tricia Huffman, our resident Joyologist (Yoga Instructor, Raw Food Chef, Life Support, Etc) is at my side every step of the tour. I ask her to post affirmations, thought provoking questions, and clever insights. She is NOT pretending to be me. She is however, the ultimate tour insider and we are all grateful for her commitment to this circus and her fondness for Tweets. Without her, we may not have a Twitter account at all. Take this answer for example. 140 characters just don’t fit into my realm of typing.

DaisyClvr is a strange girl who asks a strange question: Would you like to be kissed by 10,000 ladybugs simultaneously?
Heck Yes. That sounds much more pleasant than being kissed by 10,000 Lady GaGas.

Eckie Asks Politely: How do your band compositions come together? Do you write them or does the band figure it out? How does it work? I write and arrange most of the songs at home where I do a silly job playing the drums and bass too. Eric Hinojosa, our keyboard player lives just around the corner so he and I are known to stay up all night blazing on sounds, synths, and reverbs, which determine the required layers. Toca Rivera is our harmony finder for all the vocal parts. When I bring in the rest of the band for tour rehearsals, new rhythms are created and applied by Drummer Michael Bram and Bassist Bruce Hughes with hits and segues suggested by all, especially Grooveline (Carlos Sosa, Reggie Watkins and Fernando Castillo.) The horn section has written every one of their brass arrangements for both album and stage. Come show time, all band members are vital to the expansion of the arrangements and overall sound. Also, we do not advocate the use of backing tracks and in fact have never played along with a pre-recorded song. What you hear at a show are real guys playing real parts. I can’t speak for their clothing however. Give it up for my Super Band!

kaywynn@ says: My friend Chulo is coming to your concert on 9-16 in TX. Are you still ok with fans taping favorite song at ur concert? What about your record company?
Yes. We still encourage taping at the concerts. This is a tradition I’ll never turn my back on. I grew up listening to Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead and DMB bootlegs among others. Thru this art form I get to sit-in on extended jams with special guests, hear the banter between songs, all from many concerts I wasn’t even alive for. I’d like to think that a recording of our show in TX could be heard seven generations from now in Chulo’s Great-great-great-grandson’s flying car.

MintsOnPillows@ dives in with: Whats the deepest philosophical belief that’s helped you the most?

Row, Row, Row your Boat
Gently, down the stream
Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily
Life is But a Dream

...If you missed the philosophy in that, I encourage you to slow your boat and read it again.

Thanks for the inquiries. We'll take more questions on Twitter this Friday for more answers next Monday. Meanwhile, answer this one for yourself:

Who are you grateful for?

although i don't tweet, twat, or whatever you may call it, that was thoroughly entertaining. thanks!

to answer your question, i'm grateful for waking up everyday. my life situation is refreshing. :)

"Hopefully this doesn’t make you think twice before asking if you can have my hat."
- No, but it makes your underwear and socks a little suspect. :)

As someone who doesn't text anything (or own a cell phone, really), I can understand your relationship (or lack of it) with tweeting. It's an interesting idea, and a wonderful opportunity, but cutting things down to a meaningful core is harder than you think.

And, finally, good for you on the taping thing! The art comes first, and if someone's taping a little of you to share with a friend or future grandchild who couldn't be there, that's a very positive thing. Tell your record company, it only increases your popularity for the future. As a professional sharer, I approve.

Hey Jason.
I read your whole blog from 1977 to now and Jason - it's wonderful.
Your blog is better than every book I know, better than "The Alchimist" and so on. Just because it's you who wrote this blog and your feelings, your thoughts and there's no imagination. And that's what I cannot believe, there are so many things in your blog where I only napped 5 minutes long.
My dream is to be like you, because you've got so many power, so many inspiration. I wanna make music too, with the guitar or the piano or with both. I wanna sing all my experiences and scream it out into the world, where other people hear it and think about it. Music was my life when I was young and I think it'll be ever my life.
Jason, be proud of you and make it yours. Go your way and I hope I'll see you in Germany.
I never saw you in real. And now I'm regretting it. Damn, I wished I could turn back time and see you times and times again, and again, and again. I would go to every concert in my near! But now it's too late. I don't mind, I think, I'm gonna see you.

“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
You know?
Everything is fine. Not finAL.

I wish you had choose my question, but it's okay, that you didn't do this. My question was "Who are you going to be tomorrow?". But I didn't mean tomorrow, Tuesday, I meant in the future. Hoping to get an answer next monday! But hum, maybe it was just a bad question.
I am grateful for three very grateful persons: Winnie E., Sophie S. and Dustin K.
Without these persons I would be like I am now! And I'm so glad to be me and the way I am.

I choose to be happy.
In Joy,
Jenny

Loving this question feature. Among many other things I am grateful for my grandson Asher. They are not kidding when they talk about unconditional love for your grandchildren. Not to mention he is an exceptional human being. He will be five in November. When I realized he seemed to have a knack for playing a clunky old harmonica I had around the house I bought him a Hohner Piedmont Blues Harmonica Set. He is a big fan of John Popper and one of his favorite tunes he loves to jam with is you and Popper doing Curbside Prophet on the Kimmel show.
Much Love from a grandma in Iowa who is a big fan of yours!

First things first.... PEI PA KOA!! OMFG. Never in a million years would I thought anyone non-Asian would know what that thing is..let alone you, J! You're brilliant. Loved that thing, probably the only good thing about having a cough when I was a little girl and sick. Not even staying in bed doing nothing beats it. I didn't even know you could drink it leisurely.. Maybe I should try. Bring back the good ole' memories!

You're one of the people that I am grateful for in my life. But you're really only one amongst a million others in my life. That said, I can't actually choose who to pick to answer your question.

And I remember when you recite your Boat Philosophy in Melbourne few months ago. It's only nice to share, right? :)

Also, I love Tricia's tweets, don't ever let her go please.

These 12 questions answers from Twitter is rad.

Thank you so much for the 140+ characters blog posts!

PS. Loving the Batiks on the SuperBand picture. Though I have to say, my favourite one is Reggie's. Loving the BLUE ♥ Please pass this message to him, "BAGUS!!" with both your thumbs up. It would mean a lot to me :)

Oh, let's hope my question catches your attention next week!

Nothing I say on this blog is fiction--it may be exaggerated, but it's not fiction:

Just this morning I spoke to my friend who is at a conference in Vermont.

He said that he bought me a beer glass with an otter on it (an allusion to our Monterey, CA connection) and used his underwear and socks to pack it so that it wouldn't break.

At the beginning of the trip, maybe, but at the end of a trip?

I'm not sure I'll be using that glass any time soon...

I could name a hundred people whom I'm grateful for.
A homeless man sat next to be on a bus heading from SDSU to El Cajon. His leg was in a cast. I gave him some money and he sat with me and we cried. He served in the war. He wanted to be a comedian when he grew up. He hit a few bumps on the way. I feel so much when I think about him; lots of mixed feelings. I'm grateful for this man, but I don't know his name.

I do Believe when you said, "Songs don’t have to be written in one sitting. I allow lyrics to evolve, or rather, reveal themselves naturally." - I think a song is not just created because you wanted it. I think it is meant to be written. and without those lyrics it may not be that meaningful or has sense.

Be safe!

I'm grateful for the team of pandora.com, who proposed me "The Remedy" - the first song I ever heard from you! You changed my life Jason! You changed it all in January 2008. You inspired me playing guitar, writing songs, enhanced my vocal abilities, inspired me to eat raw food, tread people the best way a human being can do and now I plan to open up a organic café in Berlin and name it after you. Without browsing on pandora back in this foggy day of January it might have taken AGES for me to discover you. I'm grateful I did. I am full of joy and full of believe to meet you one day. Maybe in my Café :) ?!

You are true life!

Thanks for everything and fuelling my music engine of volition :).

Awesome entry. I have been a fan from the start, back when cassette tapes were still a big deal! Your songs have gotten me through some rough patches, and watching ripped videos of your performances on Youtube cheered me up immensely this weekend. Your band also rocks. "I won't worry my life away" is a statement I will live by from now until who knows. Thank you for that. I hope to be able to catch one of your live shows someday.

I never use twitter but i tried to leave you a question cause i have had one that i have always wanted to ask you if i ever got the opportunity...

During every single show (and probably every single day of your life) all you hear is girls screaming "I LOVE YOU". Yes, that is flattering....but doesn't that get annoying. Because, in all reality they dont "love" you...they love the thought of you. None of us really know you. We know your songs and we know what you act like in videos, on stage, in blogs, etc. Just curious how you feel about the whole situation. In all reality, i doubt you will read this, but if you do i would love to hear how you feel about it. =)

(answer to your question)

I am grateful for the unknown in life. Waking up each day knowing that it is brand new and unknown...it keeps me alive.

=)

I was thinking just yesterday how we have these amazing (like REALLY amazing) people in life whom we sometimes take for granted. I watched this cool documentary about Arnaldo Baptista (from The Mutantes, have you heard of them?) and thought how lucky were the people that got to at least pass through his life, him being this incredible sensitive one of a kind person.

So I am grateful for the amazing people in my life, whom I will not take for granted anymore.

I GOT GOOSEBUMPS when you quoted "ROW, ROW, ROW YOUR BOAT!"

One day, a couple of years back, I was in my garden contemplating the complexities of life. I was praying for some kind of sign or word to help me understand how to deal with things like stress, fear, anxiety that can rob you of really enjoying the living experience. I thought if I prayed hard and long enough, perhaps in time I would read or hear something really profound that would address my question.

But, before I even finished asking . . . this simple little children's nursery rhyme, which I hadn't heard or thought about for years (probably since I was a child) had popped into my head. It kept playing in my mind over and over, until I started singing it out loud. I smiled, laughed and gave thanks to God.

Ever since then, everytime I start to feel even a little bit restless or agitated, that simple song comes to me and puts me at ease.

When I started reading your journals, I noticed that you had made reference to that song several times and I thought it was a sweet coincidence.

I only became a fan of yours recently. So I'm blown away that you actually think of that song as a philosophy!

FROM GOD'S EARS TO YOUR MOUTH! There are no coincidences, only confirmations.

Love you!

as for your question, without sounding completely cliché, i am grateful for everyone i have ever met or had a direct experience with, because i firmly believe that every thing that happens in your life shapes who are you and how you'll act in the future. this includes everyone from my sister just for being my sister, to my friends whom i love, to the guy who cussed at me and cut me off on the highway and inadvertently taught me to be more careful when i drive, to you, who proved that music really can affect your mood and change your day for the better with such amazing lyrics and melodies - i will be forever grateful for that.

I have to say, I love the tweets. I love that I get to read a little quote of the day, or an affirmation. Somewhere along the way, I stopped doing things like that. I used to try to end each day with 5 things I loved about myself or 5 things I was thankful for. I think I'll start that up again.

And your question "Who are you grateful for?" prompted my own blog post: http://troismommy.wordpress.com/2009/07/13/old-friends/

Peace!

..."The term “God Forsaken” is simply turning a phrase, but in fact the phrase means to withdraw or remove the right."

You must be channeling the spirit of Mrs. Whorton, my high school English teacher...

The usage of "God Forsaken" in your inspiring song has always left me feeling a bit hollow. "God Intended", "God Given", "God Inspired", would work ...but the word forsaken was never a fit for me. Thank you for always being in a constant state of revision-I can finally check this off my list of truly pointless things to be concerned about.

Oh yes, I am thankful for my Nana who is inch by inch leaving this world for another. She taught me to
-treat everyone with kindness
-make the best fried potatoes under heaven (NOT on a raw diet!)
-live every day to its fullest,
-wear flip flops or stilettos with equal confidence
- travel every chance you get as retirement is a long and uncertain path.
Happy Trails to you!

Hey, Mr. Mraz.

It's really great to know that you take time (and I imagine how hard that is with your schedule) to answer your fans' questions. It makes you worthy of them.

I wonder if you will take time someday to answer some of the questions that bloggers and followers of your blog ask you. I guess mine would be: what will your next gentle row in life's stream be? Or do you tend not to plan things?

Greetings from Portugal.

PS - If you have the time and inclination to know who I am grateful for, check out my blog: http://caamorim.spaces.live.com.

First.. to answer your question.
I'm grateful for..
- my grandma, she showed me creativity, learned me to draw and see the beauty in things.
- my grandpa, he teached me to love nature by taking me for long walks in the forest.
- my friends and familie, they made me to who I am right now.
- you, for telling such beautiful stories in your songs and blogs, and just being you.

My question..
Are you aware of the fact that you change people's lifes by just being yourself, singing your songs, telling your stories? They really make my day, brighten it up, let me see the beauty in everything. More then I do otherwise.
You make me realize that every little part of this world has his own story.

Thanks for that.

THE AESTHETICS OF THE BODY AND IMAGE

Just a few words...
The same body which attracts, is also attracted. In it the soul shuts in and through it overflows its essence. It is a machine that produces a whirlwind of sensations, pleasure, joy, pain and wishes. It is a mirror of the mind, an extension of the thoughts and actions like a reflex that defines us. Please, don’t look for perfection, since it does not exist, look for the balance, the proportion owed between body and mind.

"Nakedness, last veil of the soul
that still thus it continues occult.
The fertile language of the body
doesn’t detect it nor deciphers it.
Beyond the skin, the muscles,
the nerves, the blood, the bones,
it refuses the intimate contact,
the floral marriage, the deifying hug
of the substance intoxicated forever
by the sublime conjunction."

@fabi

I appreciate very much anyone who can evoke a feeling with their words.

Your question: "Have you ever whispered one of your songs into someone's ears so close that your breath moved their hair?"

The thought of the right person standing so close to me as to move my hair with his breath turned my insides to mush. I may steal that thought and use it in a poem.

@yellowpolkadotbikini

YOU see your family as a bucket of poop. YOU.

@Jason Mraz

Have you ever tried sculling (rowing those long, skinny boats)? I can't say that it is the most exciting sport in the world, but it is infinitely more difficult than it seems. It requires an extraordinary amount of concentration to do well because it requires precision and balance. It's an excellent way to disconnect from anything that might be preoccupying you. The rhythmic movement of the oars and your body is hypnotic...

I think that the band should adopt those shirts as a uniform. How come you're not wearing one?

Godspeed back to the colonies.

Today I am grateful for Tricia. I subscribed to her tweets last week, after stumbling on you all while trying to purchase concert tickets. In the last year, I have really learned what it means to live unconditionally, and it is a graceful way to live. Some days, though are harder than others. Yesterday was one of those days, and her question this morning "What would you like to be acknowledged for" was perfect. I haven't been able to come up with an answer yet, but it's snapped everything back into persepective and I'm, once again, open and joyful. I would love to have a Tricia by my side as I travel this world, working away.

This is a poem for everyone.
Soon in English.

Pieces of Peace

Y me preocupa

Cómo decirte
Que sí, que me asusta
Que pierdas las esperanzas
Que no aproveches
Todo lo que tenés a tu alcance
Para salir adelante

Cómo te explico?
Que me interesa
Que seas feliz
Aunque casi no te conozco
Aunque nos hayamos peleado
Aunque me hayas herido
Aunque no estés más en mi vida

Cómo hacerte sentir?
Que te amo
Que amo
Que todos son significativos
Para mi como sos vos

Cómo lo hago?
Que quiero ser par en la lucha
Que me llames cuando lo necesites
Que me reclames si no te escucho
Que me veas
Tal cual soy
Me valores y me respetes

Me equivoco
Pero busco
Me duele
Pero medito
Me caigo
Pero me sacudo y sigo

Cómo te explico?
Que voy para allá
Y me vuelvo
Para que me acompañes
Que escucharé
Tu llamado
No importa dónde
Me encuentre

Pero no me pidas
Que me desvie de mi camino
Yo ya he elegido
Respeto profundamente
todo lo que elijas
Y que aunque a veces dude
Sigo confiando
Porque no dejo de practicar
No importa
Los gigantes moustros
Que aparezcan

Mi acción es mi confianza
Hasta que no quede
Herida pasada
De mi desconfianza
Hasta que la prueba real aparezca
Con nuevos desafíos
Para mi búsqueda

Soy simplemente soy
Soy humana
Soy mujer
Madre, hija, amiga
Errónea
Compañera
Simplemente soy
Con lo complejo que es eso
Cómo te explico?

Para vos
De mi

We Have the same birthday-isn't that beautiful?

I spent my 17th in Norway, on a beach of a fjord in Peder Olsen's garden, called Ramme Gard. I was an intern with the British Shakespeare Company, and everyone was celebrating Midsummer on our birthday. There were fireworks and I met Sir Ben Kingsley. I'm telling you all this because it was your music that inspired me to reach for such a crazy life, and I also wanted to tell you Happy Belated Birthday. I've been a fan of your music for a long time, and love it to bits. All the songs I know of yours are now attached to a memory of that beautiful time. Thank you, and I'll make it to your Chicago show in august.
I can't wait.

Dear, dear Jason. You make me want to smile, dance on clouds, hug my loved ones, giggle and wonder in amazement like The Little Prince, run outside and inhale life in the air, learn to play the guitar... but with my limited musical ability, does the world need another Average Joe killing songs softly but surely? I'm not sure the world has to worry, seeing as I find it so hard to break bad habits and lift myself out of the daily rut I continuously sink into, regardless of the best intentions I may have.

Do you have any advice on actually making that change? I want to be that better person, but getting there is harder to realize.

This may have been said many thousands of times across the globe, but I am grateful for you. Truly grateful and happy that humans can be so amazing. It gives me hope, so thank you and have the wonderful day that you deserve.

Yo, J, just wanted to tell you that when the couple on so you think you can dance performed to "If It Kills Me" tonight, and brought it and got raves from the judges and audience, I felt like you should have been showered with praise as well for making such a freaking amazing song for them to be able to dance to in the first place! Wow, hell of a run on sentence :) kudos to you good sir! www.colescreations80.blogspot.com <3 Cole xoxo...up and coming joyologist

"life is but a dream" is a complementing line in Live High. Because of the song (which I really love), I learned to think the phrase over.. Life is but a dream..

Now it's official where you got it and what role the nursery rhyme/song plays in your life.\

You influence me.

I'm grateful for my family and friends. :D All of them!

HEY hey HEY

Can't wait to see you in Murphy, CA. Still totally a fan at 40! Life has gotten a bit busy, which is good, but haven't been able to follow the blogs.

Great to see you are still grateful for your fans, thoughtful and always striving to live true to your philosophies.

Could you TRY TRY TRY to sing Try Try Try at Murphy's concert? That would be SOOOOO beautiful to me!!

Hi Jason,

Want to share a story about me to you……
I’m alicz from Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is a very prosperous and busy city. We have 24-hours open shop everywhere. Many employees afraid to leave office when their working hours is due. It is beacuse the boss will think you are not hardworking enough if you leave on time! It is a very common situation happened here. Workers aren't dare to leave and keep working working working!!! We sometimes work till mid-night or even overnight. So I always feel stressful at work or even off from work.

I travel to other country, i’m so covet.
They can leave office at 4-5pm and enjoy their leisure hours with friends or do what ever they love!

i used to listen your song when i'm traveling to the work place so as going home everyday. As my mother-tongue is not English, i need to be very focus to your lyrics in order to understand your meaning. It's a funny game to me beacause i cannot understand every word fully and i’ll try to guess your hidden meaning between lines.

Few days ago, i was very depress when traveling to office by bus. The scene keep moving outside and i just feel like pushing me to the hell!
At that moment, my ipod is playing I'm Yours, and you say you drew a new face on a fogged up glass and laughed!

I BELIEVE YOU ARE TALKING TO ME! :)

Feeling happy, why so hard??
Then, I take a deep breathe and try to reset my mind.
Your music pump POSITIVE ENERGY and HOPE to every people all over the world!!
Don’t you know your love message has already spread through our heart!?

Thanks soooooooo much truely..............

I feel grateful to have a great family and to know you.
I know you since January 2009, It’s so late!!
Unfortunately I cannot buy your ticket in Hong Kong in March.
Please, Come Again!!!

P.S. The Pei Pa Ko you’ve mentioned is quite well-known in China. Sometimes we will directly swallow few spoon without dilute water in order to have best performance.
It’s so surprise that you use the Pei Pa Ko枇杷膏 to keep your dear voice! Nice choice!!:P

Keep moving and spread your love to the world!

It’s so nice to know you……

Thank you soooo much!
Love you always,
Alicz :)

Hi,Jason. ...i know i am not supposed to ask the questions yet...lol I already tweeted one to your assistant...and I know you guys probably will not get back to me but...I just want to say: I am a big fan of your music yes, but also of you. i read about you and learn about you and you make me want to be a better person. I am a single mom with 3 kids one with a disability and the past few years have been tough. I let myself fall to far and now I am climbing back out. I just started nursing school and am trying to get in beter shape..and you inspire me in a lot of ways. Your music touches me in a way that I haven't been tuched by music before. Your concern for peopel and the environment is great and I too want to do more. I love that you are into all these healthy things!! I am reading about what you put in your body and hoping to start following in your footsteps with that as I learn more.
I saw you in Rhode island front row with my daughter...i felt in awe...like a freaking teenager!!lol You guys were great! Now I am going to see you at Mohegan Sun July 31....getting excited!!...not the best seats but at least I get to see and hear you! :o) Anyway....your music and your voice pull me out of a dark place that I often visit (depression) all i have to do is listen to you voice and I feel better...and for that I am very thankful. To some it may sound silly...but to me living my whole life with depression and dealing with very intense and scary feelings has not been easy..and to have soemthing to help me get through is awesome and I thank you for that. ...My point is I want to to see you for one minute after the concert...i want you to "sign" me...so I can have your autograph tattooed. Kinda crazy...but I wan to do it. So i am asking you that you spare one minute on me and let me do this. I don't see you coming back to my area anytime soon....and I cannot afford to travel...so Mohegan it is if it is meant to be...What do you say can you do that for me? Please. i rpomise not to attachk you or molest you or do anything out of the ordinary lmao!! laurapoulin@cox.net ♥ please think about it.

Hi Jason,

U've got Sai Baba n Satya Sai baba confused. They're two different entities altogether. While Sai Baba is the kind fakir who could perform miracles, Satya Sai Baba is a guru of sorts - a pious man. Sai Baba - The fakir is not an incarnation of god but something on the lines of a messiah who helped people. You know actually, what Sai Baba - The fakir did and his message involve something that you usually talk about in your songs - about spreading love and cheer and opening up to others and possibilities of life...

I'm greatful for the people in my life who stubbornly persist to believe in me and push me when I don't believe I'm anything worth fighting for. I'm grateful for the many inspirational artists in my life and in my world. From Friends like Jessie and Dalton who paint and sing, to People like you, who Blog and create beautiful music. :D

<---I'm sure HIS story is... I won't use any other incense though. seriously. There is no comparison...
--------------------
fuzzy teeth are fuckin' gross... and now that I know about your 'hats'... I wouldn't take cash to put one of those on my head. *gross*
--------------------------
I seriously NEED some besos!
--------------------------
140 characters just don’t fit into my realm of typing. <---EXACTLY!!! That is my problem with it too... I tend to get carried away when I write...and like details in the writing...and 'tweeting' just doesn't allow you to do that AT ALL.
-----------------------------
Who are you grateful for?

TONS of people... but I think you know EXACTLY who I am truly grateful for (at this very moment)Jason! *MMMMMMMMWAH* hehehe ;o)
